the gun boats in the ocean are there to stop you going out to far. They server the same purpose as the choppers in far cry. You could probably edit the rockets out from the sandbox, but the gun boats are pretty boring and small, as you will see when you are editing them
You DONT get on the warship you tard...guess whats shooting those missiles at you, follow yer damn objectives, Prophet says nothing about a ship...but kudos for you getting the airboat, when they are a mile away in the ocean they're at half that distance and making sniper accurate shots at you...with a machinegun.vonkronz
What is so hard about getting the airboat? Theres an empty one sitting right near the dock of the second camp ???

you cant do it like that either...you get an "out of bounds" message like in BF
No, theres one that doesn't. I think its the one that is directly out from the communication tower. Just try all of them.

what?
I'm gonna assume you have no idea that the demo came with a map editor, it's in the program files.
in the map editor, you can open the sp demo level, it's just called "island.cry", then you can just move your camera to a warship of your choice, and spawn right on top of it, and then realize, that you aren't even able to walk on the thing because you were never intended to get that close to the warship, especially with your nanosuit, I bet your just another blip on the radar with a suit like that, which means, YOU GET OWNED. oh yeah, forgot to mention that to play in the map editor, you have to press "ctrl+g"
(your main drive which I assume will be C: unless you have an external like me, which I guess F:/ProgramFiles/Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis SP Demo/Bin32 - that's the folder the editor is in)
It's easy, go towards the ones at the beginning of the level that you see. They don't shoot. To get on, you need to go underwater, use speed, and speed back up landing on the top.GodLovesDead
Im talking about the huge warships about a mile of in the distance not the raft airboats
you dont need the editor
you can easily get there in the demo. You just have to swim below the surface of the water.
The problem is when you finally get to the boats you cant get into or ontop of them because they are too high
