use daemon tools or alchohol to mount either the mds or mdf file. I forgot which one yout suppose to mount but its the smaller of the two files. Should be a few kbytes i believe.

You should be able to mount the mds using Daemon Tools. It's similar to a .iso file. You just click "Mount image" in Daemon Tool's menu.

.mdf is a database file, so it is probably storing the data, while .mds (which I've never heard of) accesses it. As others have said, Alchohol 120% should be able to do something with it, although I don't know whether you'd have to mount it, or extract/compile another file.

I'm not entirely sure the newest D-Tools is completely compatible with Vista. As it is, that's a relatively uncommon image file.

Maybe you can try this: http://www.fileinfo.net/extension/mds this page gives you a list of programs that can open .mds files.

i have vista, DT works great, might be a bad download, make sure others that downloaded it dont have a issue, also try re-extracting the files.

anyway:

what you do is you can open any one of those .RAR files with winrar,
extract it to a folder (i usually just put them in a new folder on desk top)

Unrar , Mount the mds file with Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120% , go to your emulated driver , click setup ... Follow the instructions that came with it. It's really really really easy!

I'm surprised that the moderators hasn't locked this thread for copyright infrigment . All Hail Free Will!
