Its on sale on Steam, and it seems really appealing, + a sequel is coming out.

Is it still an excellent game, I havent played it, ever?

I tried playing it once. Seemed like a kiddie or chick game so I quit it.

We don't know that the next game is a sequel. So far from interviews it sounds more like a spin off.
That said, I've yet to play the original.
