Obviously I'll be getting the game, the only thing left to decide is if I get it for the PC or 360. The review didn't mention any glaring technical issues, but I just want to make sure.
Oh...no spoilers!

Obviously you should get it on PC if you have anything decent, It's always going to run and look better. PC will no doubt walk away with the win as usual. I'll let you know how the PC version handles in a bit more than an hour.

Not always the case. I've had some very hyped PC games run absolutely awfully. But yes, rest assured I have a rig that is more than capable of running this game. I just want to know for sure before I pick it up.

Exactly. For example... Rage. I've never had so many problems trying to run a game before.
It hasn't released yet, but all the reviewers say it runs very well. Besides, It is an unreal 3 game and isn't really pushing anything graphically, so it shouldn't be too tough to run.ferret-gamer
That doesn't mean some gamespotter doesn't have their claws on it and can't give me a heads up as to whether or not the game runs well.

If they did they'd have had to use a pirated copy which would make it impossible to say if performance issues was caused by the game or by the hack :P With that said, none of the reviews have mentioned performance issues on the PC (a few has mentioned minor frame rate issues on the consoles). Since the game is based on the unreal engine I'd be surprised if there were major performance issues or incompatibilities with an up-to-date pc. We should know more in an hour or so :)If they did they'd have had to use a pirated copy which would make it impossible to say if performance issues was caused by the game or by the hack :P With that said, none of the reviews have mentioned performance issues on the PC (a few has mentioned minor frame rate issues on the consoles). I usually get my games a day early from GameStop, so it's not impossible that someone has the thing.
But I've read more reviews and have had my doubts soothed. I'll be picking it up for PC tomorrow. Tonight, though, is being devoted to XCOM!
Well I can absolutely confirm that PC is the way to go. It is a rock solid buttery smooth 60 at the very minimum. I'm currently running with vsync and I've yet to see anything below 60. Game looks great, and plays perfectly. Don't waste extra money for a gimped out 30 fps on the consoles, you'd be doing yourself a disservice...I think we all know that by now.
I guess we have to wait for detailed benchmarks, but PC Games Hardware states that the game usually ran at the limit of the engine (130 fps) at 2560 x 1600 on their i5-3570k + GTX 580. They also say that a GTX 460 should be enough for 1920 x 1080.

If you're going to be playing a lot of casual games like this I suggest getting them on the consoles. The reason being that these games are designed to run on the consoles first and foremost. That is the primary market for casual gaming scrubs.SKaREO
0/10 for now. Although, we'll see how many bites this gets.

LMFAO.
Why would you say this is a casual game? When I think casual, Angry Birds comes to mind and all the other crap games out there. And enough with the racist "lazy american" comments. I could throw out many different stereotypes about many different cultures, but the fact is, I don't live in these places I've only HEARD about. I've learned not to listen to stereotypes, and decided to make up my own mind about a given people. Racism is ignorance, don't be a fool.
