I know the game is almost strictly PVP, but how easy is it to get into the action when first starting out? I play WoW and Some LotRO but know this isn't the same thing. Am I going to have as much fun with WAR? Is it hard to earn stuff and is it fun? I just want to make a decision before i put money into it.

What is WAR?? Why would you put money in into MMOs anyway? Have you not heard of Warhammer? Money into an MMO because its a form of entertainment. Just like movies, music, and books.

oh yea warhammer.... i guess so, just like i pay $45 a year for live! Except a subscription to WoW or WAR is 3x more then xbox live. if there was an mmo on xbox live then you would have to pay 45, and then the mmo fee...btw.

WAR eases you into the RvR quite well, by making Tier 1 small battlefield objectives and easy npcs , and slowly introducing battlekeeps and scaling up their size as well as the difficulty of the mobs up as you move up to tier 2-3-4. Fantastic PvP, probably the best Ive played.
It's very simple to understand, as others stated, it build up the higher you go in the tiers.
If you're buying the game soon wait until after the 29th. The Orc Choppa and Dwarf Slayer, which are the last two classes left to be added will be either be announced or released.
