My last free shipping from Newegg took about 6 (weekend included) They used DHL whick shipped it part of the way then dropped it at USPS which delivered it. Don't know if it would have been faster if they charged me for shipping, because their delivery is usually much faster.

It's slow, it always takes 3 days for me. I'd recommend TigerDirect, which I get mines from them in 1 day. Maybe because I'm closer to their warehouse.

That's what happened with me. I ordered small items (HDDs). They were shipped from the Memphis, TN warehouse. DHL picked up and shipped them around me. I'm near St. Louis I can't remember where it went exactly but it went north, then across my state to Kansas City where DHL dropped it off to USPS. Took about 6 days each time. Probably wasted more gas that way than if USPS had just gotten the items in the first place!
When I ordered a large item (monitor) it took 1 day via UPS. Again it came from Memphis.
So really there's no way to tell how long it could take.
Newegg used to be quick for me (2 business days after it shipped), and now it's slow/average (4-5 business days after it shipped). I live in Seattle and they always ship from Cali.

Newegg will cut corners and will take advantage of UPS' ground shipping if UPS estimates the package will arrive in 3 days. The annoying thing is that UPS isn't always exact with their estimates. One time it took UPS ground about 9 days to send me my HDTV.
As long as you order early, you will get it fast... so ordering it on like a Friday is bad, because they won't even begin the process to ship your order until the following Monday... It is best to order on the Weekend/Monday/Tuesday... then you are garunteed to get it during that business week...
It all depends on what you are buying. If they offer "eggsaver shipping" which is DHL then your post office it could take a while and if they offer UPS Ground it's however long UPS Ground takes probably 3 days. Newegg usually gets the order out the next or even same day.

It really all depends on where it ships from, I live in TX. So from Cali it takes 3 days, from TN about 2 days and from the East coast about 3 days. I've never had it take any longer than 3 days. But again, this all depends on luck, where exactly you live, and where it ships from. For the most part though, Newegg has always been fast with processing the order and getting it shipped out even if its the free shipping or not.
Yeah, 3 days tops... I just bought a game off newegg, and was thinking it should be here today... Then remembered i ordered friday, and it's a long weekend...Urgh
Check to see which warehouse they shipped it from. I live pretty close to the newegg warehouse in so cal so my shipments usually come in less than 24 hours.
Is the eggsaver shipping the free shipping or is the free shipping ups because on the order form it doesn't say anything about eggsaver just UPS 3 day delivery

Within 15 minutes i got a e-mail saying my package is ready to ship and now it is monday and it says my package is in transit. I expect it to be here on thursday. newegg is fast but it really depends on your location and is a weekend coming up. I think mail moves on weekends but it soes not scan at the offices becasue the offices are closed. I could be mistaken about that.

If your order is in transit over weekend, then it'll arrive at the distribution center and then wait there for two days (at least for me it did when I got items from Tennessee). Then on early Morning evening, it is back on the road again. This was in my experience of course so everyone else's distribution policies can be different.
well if you order from them you pick what shipping plan you want. and it tells you how many days it will take simple as that. for my i use the newegg saver that take about 7 days or so. and i live only about a 1 hour drive from them too LOL but it only cost me 3.99
one little advice never ever EVER pick next day on a thursday or friday ok because you wont get till monday or tuseday. if you want next day order on monday for to get it tuesday or wendsday
