How good is the card like will it max out everything at atleast 30fps.koryukWell i think its better than the gtx 460 an i max everything out at 1080p so yea i think it will.
You sould wait for the next Nvidia cards coming soon, otherwise if you need a GPU now, then yse a GTX 560 ti is good. I have one myself and I can almost max out some titles fairly well. I recommend finding the 448 cores models as they are almost as strong as the GTX 570
How good is the card like will it max out everything at atleast 30fps.koryukNo it won't, but how important is it to run every game max'ed out? It should handle every game very well, a few games it won't run the extreme levels of AA and such but some settings don't get you noticable change in visuals but stress the GPU much more, those you can live without.
It's great, incredible value for the money. I payed 180€ for a superclocked Asus on a promotion and I'm very happy with it. My CPU is not great by today's standards (Q6600 stock), I only have DDR2 (4GB) but it performs extremely well. I game at 1680x1050 and get around 45fps on Crysis 2 maxed with DX11 and hi-res textures.

It should max every single game except Metro with at least 30 fps, barring that your definition of "max" doesn't include 4xAA, but actually max main graphical details.
get a zotac amp 560 ti 1 gb its factory overclocked to a 570 almost and i can run every game on ultra 50-60 fp, that includes bf3 and total war shogun 2
As always, "maxing out" a game, with decent FPS, depends alot on what resolution you play at.
The 560ti is a really good "bang for the buck" imo. Esp the 448 core versions (like stated above).
They are alright, but if you were to purchase a graphic card, I suggest something with 2GB. Why? Cause games such as BF3 already surpass the 1GB VRAM and without a 2GB VRAM, you'll have difficulty running it on Ultra. I currently have 2x GTX560Tis and as soon as i bump textures up to Ultra, the game becomes unplayable... full of stutters and framedrops... solely because both my gfx cards have 1GB VRAM.trastamad03
I have(2) GTX460s in SLI and run BF3 on Ultra @ 1680x1050 with no problems at all.
I get between 50-80fps most times with a drop occasionally in big firefights or explosions. But sometimes I can spike as high as 120fps, it all depends on the map.
My cards both only have 1GB which in SLI setup is all I will have since the RAM does not add up in SLI.
You may want to troubleshoot your setup to find out whats wrong, because you should be able to tear through BF3 with no problems at all.

That's funny, because reviews with 1GB cards on BF3 maxed doesn't show crazy minimum frames at all.

I've tried everything in order to troubleshoot, even asking Nvidia support... Only have problems with BF3. It only happens when I set Textures to Ultra. Do note that I play on 1920x1080 (along with 90° FOV) and BF3 has a significant fps difference between 1680x1050 and 1920x1080. The resolution combined with the Ultra textures seem to drag it down. I'm currently playing with everything on Ultra, except 0xAA and use High FXAA, with Texture on High and runs great... Till Punkbuster kicks me out, but that's another problem.[QUOTE="trastamad03"]They are alright, but if you were to purchase a graphic card, I suggest something with 2GB. Why? Wow...on High can do that and we have the same 2 1GB 460s, should try Ultra more, and my cpu is an i5-2500k for that matter. Please Log In to post.
