The CPU is going to be hit pretty hard by Crysis, but it should hold up fairly well. I'd expect high at 12x10 with that setup.

It's certainly a big improvement, but Crysis is a demanding game.

Of coarse he changed the motherboard. You should have gone Intel, but the horse is out of the barn so to speak, haha. But an X2 4000 would have presumably been much cheaper.

Well it Bad that he went for amd i must have missed is topic in creaiton and haven't made him pick intel or someting or he ad really ow money budget and ad to take 6000x2 + A Weak motherboard what ur motherboard topic creator ?
there Being on gamespot in this Thread type Several people who say 6000x2 is comparable to E7200&300 & E8200 & E8400 stock speed which is a blatant lie i saw some people that where not knowing what they talk about amd cpu but it okay

it just some amd fan stuff it sure it nice to support a enterprise. and say woot im fan. of it
but why suffer of lagging and stuff for it when ur a gamer. you aim to get a good cpu / video card and that is all depend of ur budget but if ur mobo is Compatible With shangai [newest cpu quad core phenom] that release by next week
Then you could return ur cpu to newegg if it from newegg you bough it and get a Better cpu when it release
A cpu equivalent to a good cpu of intel from amd is the phenom latest edition

we estimate shangai to be far better then Best Phenom on market at stock speed which is Able to Equalzie E8400 In lot of Game for Stock speed but as soon you overlcock well the AMD Bite the Dust unless ur A Expert Professional Overclocker with a team such as Observed on Blueorb benchmarking there people with cpu stock at 3.0ghz to 4.8ghz+ running smooth no crash apprently but cost a load of money depend of cpu i bet amd could get in that part with the hand of a true overclock-er or something it amazing how E8500 can be oc up to 4.8ghz with water cooling all set and good ram and Asus Rampage extreme

but we talking about Cryisis And a 8800GT. so a 8800GT IS 3x inferior to 280GTX as i know right ? For FPS Rendering in game
And With such cpu you even bottleneck the 8800GT furter with a single 8800GT you can estimate. Cryisis half medium some high1024x780 Stable & some big lag on 1280x1024 if lucky no lag but i doubt it (it really a graphic card Eater) if you could have wait more money or get a intel cpu straigh away by return part before you can't return within the policy of open box that i belive newegg as. ncix in canada does.

so if you doesn't want to change anything up to you 6000x2 is 25% Better hten 4600x2. but Still far Behind E7200 / Q6600 / Q9300 / E8200 / E8400 /E8500 / E8600 Stock speed here a review about it

You can run Crysis with no trouble at all. You could probably run Warhead on high.

well according review.. high yes. but laggy.. indeed. on lower then 1280x1024. read what i say if you want i just recommend to see many point of view i coudl be wrong but the review seem to show me that with cpu / video card. if you put Two 8800GT you'r inferior to a 280GTX. so if you put 3 8800GT : you'r same power as 280GTX If 280gTx = (example 70fps. 8800GT would be 2.8x under. 70fps - 2.8x = 45 / 35fps. still playable but we now talk under. like 15fps. 10fps it a 8800GT not sli he said right

here il show you another example on sli can affect performances on game as Cryisis
everyone who know about video card know 9800GTX IS from 10-15% Better then a single 8800GT easy
http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3275&p=5 ok we see crysis 18fps = really laggy ? what happen when we add two it give 38fps (playable) but still some dirty shade. but even tough we talk abou ta 6000x2. which is lowering the power of the video card so the 18fps become 10fps. 8fps. barely playable for 1280x1024. but he can lower resolution . to 1024x780 and i bet it would run with 20fps. 25fps. with that cpu unless he is having a Sub Zero Cooling Solution & Experienced into it overclock it to +800mhx but uber risked it mostly like play dice it gamble. you could success. you could failure. why take the risk intel overclock like god without sub zero cooling which is purely experimental or we would have more then 25,000 people doing it and Thousand of Review about it if i trow a coin i pick face ? will the coin drop on face Extreme overclocking is about same luck & skill it void warranty tough but we not talking about that.

so we talk about a miserable 6000x2 socket am2 stock speed + A 8800GT Trying to run Cryisis on 1280x1024 native resolution CRC monitor or LCD monitor Right ?! Or is having a 22 inch / 1680x1050 downscaled to 1024x780 that Even worst then CRC monitor down scaling we call that native resolution If i take my Avatar of gamespot which is a tiny cm metrics and i scale it to half of my screen which is now a 19 inch what happen ? it not even look-able it not art anymore it blurriness

what happen ? it get all blurry and we don't even know what avatar it it pure pixel dots well if you down scale a super huge picture you can suffer of the same issue unless compressed or at last it how it look when i try a 1920x1200 at 1280x1024
then look a picture native resolution on paint of 1920x1200. on a 1280x1024 monitor native / and 1920x120 not native
i have both soon since i got a TV 42 inch 1080P I coudl downscale stuff to like 720P but I can swear I see Quality lose

 The Equation is simple
So the sli It does worth sometime. but when you can buy a single better Card who offer same performances for less wattage / heat generation source. then it why 260GTx / 280gTX / HD4850 / HD4870 Does Existt or 9800GTX+ MAX overclcoked
my point of view 8800GT is a mid-range card in single pair to low for newest game but it was a quite good card for money back before ATI HD4000 & 200GTX

maybe i'm wrong a little or sound a little rude. but it seem how cryisis is that a money hugger is Question was About cryisis and i try-ed to reply it with the most big honesty i could with what i could see from experience benchmark you can ask the custom pc build union that i'm inside http://www.gamespot.com/pages/unions/home.php?union_id=custompcunion i'm not 100% sure of all what i state with 100% precission it just my opinion they may reply Similarly Information of what i Gaven in the Two previous post i hope i could being understand I'm ESL Which is a diminutive of English second languages

anyway waiting any reply
