How good is my PC for gaming?

10.4GHz...god, what a stupid seller. Four 2.6GHz cores are not equal to a 10.4GHz processor. At any rate, that's...not terrible for the price, although I'd be careful with that power supply.RayvinAzn

Possible it is equal to a pentium 4 running at 10.4Ghz. If seen that 4x2.6ghz= 10.4 or 4x2.4 = 9.6 this is for the benefit of those that think CPU mhz = more processing power. People are yet to understand the cores thinking a dual @3Ghz is better than a quad @2.4Ghz it isn't and that is that so they have just multiplied it to get the point across that 4 cores are much more powerful than 2 core or 1 core.

Indeed, the seller who sold you that system should be shot for posting misleading facts about the system. I'd say you will get decent performance on mid range resolution playing games. My laptop even has a 9800GTS (overall 3dmark Vantage score: 9780) and it plays most games on mid-highTyson8earzz
