I just bought thermaltake toughpower 650W psu.How good is it?

My Pc specs is: Core 2 Q8200 @2.6

Xfx 260gtx core 216

Abit Ip 35e

2x sata HDD(160+500)gb

1x DVDRW

Auzentech xfi prelude

4GB ddr2 ram

Is my PSU good enough?also can i run 260gtx in sli?

I think you might have issues. Look here.

It shows that an idle GTX 260 216core runs around 158W and under full load it can draw 262W. If you have two of these running it's going to take around 300W at idle and if both cards are under full load, then you're pushing the 500W range. I'm not sure your PSU will be able to handle two of these in SLI while running everything else.

Just my thoughts....take them as you want

That review is showing entire system power usage, not just the video card. The GTX260 takes 182W at load. That PSU has 624W on the 12V line, so it should be plenty!

You're right....my hastened look over it, I missed that it was listing system usage and not just the card. good catch.

it should be good i think but u should atleast get a corsair 750 if u have yet to buy a psu then get this otherwise just use 1 gtx 260 for now

Why should he stick with 1 GTX 260? His power supply has more than enough juice to support 2...

As long as it has 4x PCI-E power connectors and you don't have to mess around with those molex-to-pci-e converters then you'll be fine. The Thermaltake Toughpower series are decent PSU's and will deliver pretty much they're rated power, no problems.
