Wow, what's up with all the sinker racing games. NFS Run, now this.

Based on this lack of interest, seems like people are growing tired of car games that don't behave like cars and try to rely on gimics instead.

It's not sim at all, it's arcade but it's actually a very good game. The car controls aren't the best but it's really the approach to the city, the different events and the humour that holds it above many other racing games.

I think it's worth $30, but it's not a driving sim. It's like GTA but driving only, no onfoot stuff. You have a pretty big city to explore. There are various missions to do, some advancing a story. You get points you can use to buy new cars and other things. No simulation though.

Played only about 1 hour at a friend, no idea if it's more, but what I saw was a poor Burnout with all the awesome taken out of it and exaggerated understeering to make it seem more realistic than arcade and extremely heavy cars.

I thought it was a fun game, but by the time the story had run out, I had pretty much no desire to play every last side mission. By the end, you know all the kinds of missions the game has to offer and you don't really want to repeat them a hundred times. Still, it's a good game for a while.

Decent run for a bit, but more of a rental if you have a console then a buy imo.
