If you like Dirt you'll absolutely love Race Driver: Grid. I have owned grid on PS3 (before I sold the game/console) and I've got it now on PC. It's great!

Sweet man, thanks for the info, maybe see ya online on it sometime:P

I wish forza2 was on pc, imagine all the user made levels and the custimization of how your cars look would be even better on pc because you could import pictures and what not.

I just got the game a week or so ago, it's a quality game and a quality port for the pc, it's well optimized, looks good, everything seems to work great. i don't play a lot of driving games, but Grid is one of the better ones i've played in my lifetime.

It's a lot of fun. The driving took some getting used to for me personally since i usually play arcade racers, it's much more realistic. Look beautiful, especially the crashes.. It's alot of fun to purposely hit walls doing 250k/h and watching it in slow mo replay, watching stuff fly off in every direction, etc :P The AI holds it back a little bit though as well, especially at the start of races. Basically it's like you're invisible to every other AI driver, they can, and will run right into you and spin you out, best option is to get out in front and stay there the entire race, otherwise someone will always run right into you. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys racing games though, definitely.

Sadly, and i say that with a lot of it, it's one of the few good, fun, well ported racing games on the pc. I had such high hopes for Undercover..what a let down :(. But, atleast i still have GRID. Most of the fun is online, i just crack up watchin' the pile-ups at the begining of races. Most of the time, it's a matter of who comes out w/ the least amount of damage. The best part is when you crash and start backing out of the tires, not entirely realizing that there are 7 other cars coming up right behind you and next thing you know, it's like you're inside a pinball machine. And the physics, they rock, you can do some insane flips and land on all four tires and still drive like nothing really happened. It isn't a replacement for NFS, but, it is nice if you like racing games. I'd suggest picking up a 360 wired controller for the pc, works excellent with GRID. I'm currently using it for GTA IV, it rocks. Wasn't the best for Dead Space but it was better than the mouse..what a nightmare.

Realistic? Noooooo. Nonononononnooooooooo. Not even a little bit. This is one of the most arcade-y arcade racers I have played since Mario Kart. That being said though, I had a lot of fun with it, even though I do prefer games like GTR2 and rFactor. Just make sure you have a gamepad; if you have a wheel setup don't bother trying to use it. That just makes the game needlessly difficult. The graphics are gorgeous, but the online play is very weak and unpopulated.

eh? I take it you haven't played either. 1 is a driving sim, the other is an arcade like racer called Grid.

i havent seen any GRID gameplay or such but I heard it's quite good, better than NFS these days. Plus im lookin for a new racing game coz I used to play NFS since the first but now i've lost faith in it. After Most Wanted, I was dissapointed like hell.
