I bought the GW1 trilogy a while ago but didn't know any one who'd play with me (though side question but are the people in the game friendly? whats the chances of me making a friend in the beginning of the game to go through the story with?) So i am asking, how is this game when you are alone, and is the story good? (its a mmo but i hear it has a real good story but i just want peopls opinions).

You are grouped together pretty early on and can meet with people in towns who are doing similar quests. Later the specific missions require 4, 6 or 8 players. You can do many of them with henchmen or heroes (AI bots) or people or combination of both. Populations won't be as good as when it launched naturally but it's really only the last few missions that get difficult with AI allies. I think most people are pretty nice in guild wars.

nutcrackr is pretty straight forward. sometimes i play so your welcome to add me on my account under the name Lady Avariace. look specifically for that character or my dervish iron kurtain to be in use as i share the account with my younger brother. and the majority of the other characters are his.

I ran the entire thing alone because I did not want to stand around in town spamming lfg in the chat channel.

The Henchmen and Heroes are not the brightest but are still more that able to help you complete every aspect of the game.

As far the story goes .... 3 full campaigns + 1 expansion + War of Kryta + Winds of Change. Each has its own story. Don't forget the hundreds of side quests too.

I beat all 4 campaigns alone (and with the exception of one mission got masters reward on all of them), Heroes are dumber and (usually weaker) than player counterparts because they lack PvE skills and the brainpower of a human. But they will be enough to both beat the original campaign and HM most (if not all) areas.

If you dont have the right builds for your party, farm FA and Jade Quarry a bit as well as the training missions and maybe even zaishen elite if you get a good trapper build. Even if you dont have a build henchies generally have tolerable builds (certainly beats the builds of a fair share of people I grouped with years ago)

People are generally friendly, except for in PvP where you may meet the occational jerk.

Elementalist Mesmer has its uses, searing flames is amazing.
