Hi, I'm about to get a new monitor for my new PC which is a 1920X1080 native resolution and is supported by all the new games. But how's the gaming when it comes to old pc games...? Is it that bad ??

Thanks

Depends on the gane. Some do not support wide screen, but look at this site to fix a lot of problems.

Forgot in my first post: A lot of mods have been made to enhance resolution of older games. E.g. Baldurs game is playable above 800 x 600. Google for mods for your games.

Most games will either work fine, or have mods to get them running. I'm personally running the same res, and would never go back.

Most games allow you to set them manually, regardless if they're old. Quake 3 does, they usually store a file with your resolution in it. In quake 3 based games hella easy I remember this from my head :D r_mode -1 r_customwidth r_customeheight I am just saying those, because there are a ton of quake 3 based games.
