How many additional levels?
to answer your question in your first post, no. it does not close everything off. not at all. there's gonna be a sequel to FEAR coming out in another year or so. it's been confirmed for some weeks, if not months now.Liquid_Snake92
Oh yeah? Good deal. I guess I'm out of the loop then. Thanks for the info.
its alot scarier than the originalfear aswell as a bit harder, the plot is cool aswell and it hasa cliffhanger ending that leaves the game completely open for a sequel. ofcourse its practically the same game because obviously its just an expansion but for 25 bucks its well worth it mate (atleast i got it for 25 anyway).
it does add some new bad guys, new guns and you get to fight alongside a teammate a who is actually pretty handy this time too.
the only bad thing is its very short, it might take you a weekend or two to complete it.

Sounds good, thanks. I really like this game and am looking forward to the next chapter (the one after the expansion).
What was the name of the bad guy in the original? My mind is drawing a blank. Is he really dead or was that scene in the game a mirage? You can tell me, I dont care. :P
SPOILER WARNING
i forget his name aswell lol, the vampire psychic guy i assume your talking about? lol. um yea he comes back to life in the expansion very early on haha, it doesnt really explain why either (it has something to do with that little girl)so hopefully it will explain that in fear 2. the expansion pack is also alot more "dark", these like interdimensional monsters come in and start killin everything which makes the game alot more spooky than the original aswell.
thats all i will ruin for you now lol

Its worth it, except it has a stupid ending on it like the original game does.
does an ending have tobe "and they lived happily ever after..."for you to like it?
Well, i haven't played Extraction Point, but i'm kinda miffed that Paxton Fettel just springs back to life after being shot in the head, and without any proper explanation as well! Also, i've heard that the story more or less ignores the events of the original game, which doesn't make alot of sense to me.
i Thought the expansion was better then the original, it had cooler enemies, and it had some nice music.
But it is wierdly more demanding then the origninal, it requires a lot more ram. I played the original flawless with 1 gb of ram, but coundt do that with the expansion untill i moved up to 2 gb ram.
Its worth it, but it took me only like 6 hours to finish :(.linkthewindow
6 hours isn't bad. Took me 8 to beat the original on the hardest difficulty. Perhaps i should pick it up

8 hours on the original? That must be a new world record.
