I was playing the Total Insanity challenge in Batman: Arkham Asylum. I managed to earn about 54000 points before I reached my endurance limit. Anyhow, afterwards, I was looking at the leader boards and took a look at the Top 100 players. The player ranked as number one for that challenge managed to earn over one billion points. How is that even possible? Is this legit? His name is UglyStalker007.

Yes. It's the one where you fight for as long as you can.

If we go with option C, that means that they could have spent hours playing one match. I'm usually able to earn a score of 50,000 in about eight minutes. Assuming that he's as slow/ fast as I am in earning points, that would mean it took him approximately 5,189 hours to earn that many points. That's humanly impossible. So, I'm going to conclude that he cheated. Here's the math:

. 50,000 points/ 8 minutes = 6,250 points per minute.

. 1,946,024,576 points/ 6,250 points per minute = 311,363.9 minutes

. 311,363.9 minutes / 60 minutes = 5,189 hours

. 5,189 hours / 24 = 216 days

. 216 days/ 30 days = 7 months

. Conclusion: Impossible.

The predator challenge leaderboards are even worse. Some guys "did" it in 0 seconds.

I wonder why some people feel the need to cheat so obviously to get to the top of the leaderboards. Its only showing everyone that they cheated. They might as well write :"lololol look everyone i cheated!!!11" in their profiles.

There should be some program written into the game to cause scores and time completions which are beyond what's possible, to be automatically rejected and not displayed on the leaderboards.

Yes, like there should be anti-cheat systems in MW2, and admins who BAN cheaters for LIFE if they are caught cheating....but you know what, there isn't .... and you know why? cause the devs don't really care once the game is out. They are just concentrating on making their next game or DLC to make more money.....

Agreed. Or ranks seeing as how people cheat to get ahead and cheat to win. I don't exactly know how they go about doing this and get away with it. I'm sure some of them have been caught and banned but none of us will know of it any how. Most importantly, it ruins the online experience for other players especially FPS games which is ever so populated with cheaters.

Do you know for fact how the score is calculated? Might it not be exponential?

I play this challenge everyday. It's not exponential.
