at my younger days, BG2, Civilization, and Romance of Three Kingdoms games would easily grab hold of me for 20-24 hrs...probably even more. of course I was allowed to leave the seat briefly to take care of food and hygiene issues :P
I once played World of Warcraft from 8 am to midnight with lots of breaks and actually about an hour break somewhere inbetween. So I'd say about 14 hours.

Yeah that's probably about the same for me with WoW. That's the longest gaming period I can think of.
The other day I spent about 6 hours on Mass Effect. I made a character in each class and got all six of them to Spectre status. Then just spent time in Pinnacle Station with my Soldier. You know, a lot of people think that PS was stupid, but I actually like it. For me it's kind of a fun stress relief, to be able to just sit there and shoot stuff.

I think about 12 hours is when I start to burn out, but not in a long time and would have been various old PC games of the strategy variety. I try not to play console games to long at once - I like to let my machine cool down once in a while.
I know atleast 27 hours on Diablo and Diablo 2 playing multiplayer - launch day for D2. I was also playing in the 24 hour launch marathon for Dragon Age Origins, though being teams of 4 no one person was playing 24 hours straight.
