Yup, CPU is outdated.
Look up the prices of each componet onlineand take off about 30% of the componets currentprice because it's used then add each componet price together. prolly around $500 is my guess but i don't know what PSU you have in it. If you could overclock the CPU and get it stable you could sqeeze out about $550
I saw an 8800gt with an amd athlon x2 @ 3ghz sell for £600 2 years old. If you say that it's a gaming computer people go mad for them :)
Have to say around 650 to 700 since it includes a monitor. What brand is the monitor? Guessing its a acer since I remember seeing they had a 19" 1680x1050 LCD model.crazymonkey092Yes I'd say the same! :D

could always pull a bestbuy haha (they charge way to much for stuff) see what you get.. you thinkpc gamers areCOMPTENTand know what they have. believe me if frontier pc can sell a core 2 quad extreme for 1K you can manage higher than 600 :P
[QUOTE="NamelessPlayer"]If that system's only worth US$550 total, including peripherals, then that doesn't bode well for my own, which is very similar (see sig)... That's the last time I'm ever buying a new computer costing well over US$1000. Anyway, good luck selling it. I suppose some recoup is better than nothing.musclesforcierYou just have to find the right buyer. Most people do not know what the actual cost is for those parts, nor do they know how to build it. I bet the TC could get 700-800, try craigslist. I sold a P4 2.8GHz, 768mb DDR, 80gb HDD, XP, and 17" monitor for $300 a few months back.I feel bad for the poor guy you sold that to. D=
