I am going to be upgrading my girlfriends computer for light gaming. But now this is her current specs.
AMD Athlon XP @ 1.3 GHZ
Nvidia Geforce 2 MX 400 32MB
512 MB SDRam
20 GB HDD
150 Watt PSU
LG super-mult DVD burner 20x
windows XP starter edition SP2
LG flatronic 15 inch w/ vga and DVI monitor
Now I am thinking of get this for her
AMD Phenom 9500 2.2 GHZ
ASUS 780g mATX
2 GB DDR2
WD 250 GB SATA HDD
thermal take 430 watt PSU
Visiontek ATI Radeon HD 2600pro 512 GDDR3
So how much of an upgrade will this be?
she like to play games like the sims and sim city, ceasar 2 Fifa soccer

That's one heck of an upgrade when compared to what she's currently using. However, I see no reason in spending the extra cash on the Phenom when an AMD 64 X2 6000+ would do just as good of job and it'll save you $20-40. The 6000+ will be plenty for her light gaming rig.
