I've been meaning to make this post for a while, in my opinion a new x-wing vs tie is the most un-announced game by PC gamers.

I'd love to see a new X-Wing/Tie Fighter game.

But I'd love to see Freespace 3 even more.

Neither are going to happen.:(

I'd pay $50 for this game, just like any other good PC game.

Personally, I'd love to see ANY good new space sim. Have there been any good ones since Darkstar One?

i wouldn't pay anymore than i pay for other games. i'd never pay $150+ for a game, no matter what game it is. but a new tie fighter or x-wing game would be awesome. i'd have to buy a joystick though. i played the original tie fighter with a mouse, and it just didn't have the same vibe (and certainly made the game tougher).

I'd pay $100 for a new kick ass space sim, most definetly if it was either Frespace 3 or from the X-Wing/Tie Fighter series. Of course, I'd probably want it to work over STEAM and have a copy in DVD, CD's and floppies... as well as a free paperback novel, crazy art books and 5 DVD's of extras.

probably X-wing Alliance will be the last of the franchise for a while. Hopefully Lucasarts hasn't totally abandoned the PC for console games.I'm still pissed they cancelled Full Throttle 2..even if it wasn't looking good (to them) I was still psyched to play it.

If I pay $150 for this game, it better come with a human sized x-wing or tiefiger that you can sit in and get the real experience, IMO :P

But $50 for a new x-wing/tie-fighter game would be cool, and now there could be online play and such.

Well x-wing allaince wasnt necisarily Lucasart's last space sim, Jump to Light speed (SWG) played ALOT like the other space sims.

Nothing. Lucasarts couldn't deliver what I'd expect.

I feel sorry for the people that put more than $150. I would definately purchase a new spacesim, but I certainly wouldn't pay more than the average price for it.

Nothing, LucasArts was already outdone by leaps and bounds by Freespace 2, made by Volition.

Even though my sig and avatar convey a possible sense that I would pay $150 for it...no flippin' way.

Probably $50 for a game if it were of great quality that made the originals really good.

Yes but Lucasarts has Starwars on their side.

Starwars License doesn't automatically make it a great game... Xwing Alliance was a great game, but Freespace 2 was a innovation and a refining of the space sim genre.. i would rather see a sequel to that.

As you probably know, you won't though. Too many issues with liscensing issues, Interplay out of business, Derek Smart, etc, etc.
