Depends how much you already have. You should definitely have at least 2 gigs.

i know for sure the graphics card is decent.it runs almost everything ive thrown at it at amlost the highest settings.so what will gonig from 1 gig to 2 gigs do?preformance wise?and thans heeps!
If your laptop has a weak video card, getting 2 gig's of RAM will not help much as far as gaming goes.roulettethedog

1GB is fine. It doesn't seem like you play very demanding games, WoW and the Star Wars: EaW will run fine on 1GB.

Well for memory hungry games like Oblivion, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Battlefield 2, 2GBs of RAM would have the games running more smoothly and load times be shorter.

I suppose if you can afford the extra gig and you have a decent laptop video card, the extra gig would be nice.

What video card do you have by the way?

It doesn't help your frame rate much at all, maybe a few fps. But mainly it will make your games run smoothly with less stuttering.

just bite the bullet and get the extra gig of ram...will be much better than buying a game. if you really don't want to get the ram, I heared you can use flashdrives as ram. i'm not completely sure on that though...but if you have one lying around give it a try.

although it's not the same as adding real ram, it just uses it to open an application faster.
