If your laptop has a weak video card, getting 2 gig's of RAM will not help much as far as gaming goes.roulettethedog
Well for memory hungry games like Oblivion, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Battlefield 2, 2GBs of RAM would have the games running more smoothly and load times be shorter.
I suppose if you can afford the extra gig and you have a decent laptop video card, the extra gig would be nice.
What video card do you have by the way?

Right click my computer and select properties to check specs. And for stalker 2 gigs of ram would be good
[QUOTE="imrlybord7"]A lot of newer games need more ram to run without hiccups.SHOEGOOi jjust figured out how to turn off my procceses, and aplictian cntl alt dete,i turn it all off while gamming willl that be good? That won't really help much.
just bite the bullet and get the extra gig of ram...will be much better than buying a game. if you really don't want to get the ram, I heared you can use flashdrives as ram. i'm not completely sure on that though...but if you have one lying around give it a try.Ziggy56Vista readyboost is what it's called I believe.
