How often did bioshock 2 crash on you.

Today i bought bioshock 2 and installed all of the updates. I was playing and then all of a sudden the sound cut and the game stopped responding. It then crashed. I like the game so far(Only have done 3 levels) but i want to know if this is a known issue. Also does anyone know any remedies? I saw a thread similar to it but this is a ligit copy that i bought today and not a pirated one.

Hmm not sure dude, mine hasnt crashed once.

Mine crashed every few hours, sometimes more frequently. Kind of annoying but I learned to F12 (quicksave) every 10 mins to save my progress just incase and was able to complete the game.

I finished the single player and only had one crash, have you tried updating DirectX?

I've played it for 15 hours, both multiplayer & single player & it's crashed 7 times.
