How often do you use Steams Offline Mode? (C'mon in everybody!!)

I just want to know how regularly people play their Steam games in the Offline mode.

Never, Their is absolutely no advantage to going into offline mode. The only time I can think of a good use for it... is if my Internet was temporarily down.

I used to when we had 56K, but haven't used offline mode for about 5 years.

i have a bunch of steam games and usually play them in single player. i am always online though because i have internet. i guess i could play offline but why would i?

I have never used offline mode. As soon as Steam is fired up, that's me online.

About 3 times in the last 3 years and that was because my internet was down.

I use offline on regular basis when don't want PM's from online friends and want to enjoy single player game.

Unless there was a temporary error off steam or your internet I really dont get why you would go offline.

Just before Christmas was the last time I was in offline mode. Our internet provider was being a jerk, so a whole weekend without anykind of internet connection.

Never. Even if my connection is out, I simply opt not to use Steam at all. Same with Live. It just feels weird not being connected.

Only when on an idle server in TF2 and not by my computer. Only do this while I'm at work!

Steam has an offline mode?

I've never had the need to use Steam's Offline Mode.

when I play on my home computer, i use steam online, on my laptop while away from home I use offline.

Hardly ever.

Offline mode 90% of the time.

Online while playing single player reminds me of trying to watch a movie with the doorbell/phone making noises.

On very few occations since it was launched, since Im not paranoid about "the big man" I see little point in going into offline mode, unless you have something like a 56k modem, or you pay per. mb traffic you use.

Since I have to think about neither, It is almost always online.

I do think it is nice that they offer the option tho, I am well aware that not all people have a dsl connection.

On some of the rigs I have that aren't connected to the internet all the time due to me being lazy and not getting them wireless adapters. Probably a few times a week.

I use it all the time. As the leader of a popular group, I get a lot of random messages and requests, which gets old.
