How popular do you think BFBC2 will be ... ?

I have never played any BF games but i'm really considering buying BFBC2. Do you think BFBC 2 will keep up among other popular multiplayer games or will it die after several months. So, in short, do u think it's worth buying ... ?

Indeed. After playing Bad Company 2 for a few days, i know i will be playing this game for a long time. It's brilliant.

My guess is that it's going to be popular with a great community.

I have almost 40 hours logged into the beta. That is on one single map. Dunno, it _could_ be pretty good :)

Toss ina pile of other multiplayer maps, a strong single player experience, and you end up with a heck of a fine game. I am really waiting for March 2nd to get here.... tick..tick..tick.

In the COD 4-CSS league; maybe not as popular in pro-tournaments but way ahead of some other popular online shooters as L4D, TF2 and even BF2.

The first one wasn't all that popular so i really didn't see the point of making another one and BFBC really isn't what Battlefield used to be. The first problem is that it has a main story witch the other games does not have and battlefield is supposed to be a bunch of players capturing bases and eliminating the other team, so i don't think it's worth it.Teh_Sockpuppet

BFBC2 is the best multi-player game I've ever played and I've only played the beta.....I can only compare its fun factor to SF 2 Turbo, and I was addicted to that so damn long ago in Junior High it makes me feel like a geezer.
