Yeah, as topic says. how :)

Ive read and heard from some people that said, you should buy some isopane or something, alchohol mixed water, to clean it.

Some say just take a cloth which cant scrath the screen, add some water to it, and then clean it.

But then some also say DONT clean it with water only on a cloth.

So now what? :)

HELP! ;)

Isopropyl alcohol haha. And a clean cloth. Just basically a liquid that dries without leaving a residue. Water doesn't necessarily clean too well.

You can use isopropyl alcohol, but make sure you dilute it! Using pure alcohol on your screen may damage it. Use a 50/50 blend or something.

Hehe... the easy thing is use glass and window cleaner and apply onto the damp or dry cloth before wiping on the lcd screen. Also, you need a cloth that only damped with water and wipe on it.

But what if you dont have that isopropyl?

Are there any other good ways, which also dont damage it?

Is it safe to use water on a clean cloth?

I usually just throw it in the dish washer. :P

When that fails to clean it, at wal-mart you can find multi-purpose electronic cleaner wipes. Or use the Pledge multi surface stuff and a cloth, and spray the cloth not the screen

You can use water. Dont go crazy and hose it down. You'll want to dampen the cloth. The only problem is that water will likely leave smudges and streaks. It wont hurt your monitor though.

But those smudges and streaks can just be wiped away with a clean cloth afterwards? ;)

And we dont have a walmart here. Closest one is on the other side of the atlantic! :)

Don't do that alcohol crap. Too much of it will damage your monitor. Don't even take the chance. Take a small wash cloth (whatever you'd use to clean the kitchen counter or a mess), rinse it under water, and ring most of it out. Turn off your monitor and reflect some lights off it to show the imperfections - gently "dab" or rub them off with the cloth. Don't be afraid to use a little force if you can't get smudges off. The water dries nearly instantly and shouldn't leave any streaks.

That will probably melt a hole in something, but won't leave any smudges or streaks.

I use that soft blue cloth and spray some water onto it like it said on package. Has worked so far.
