I never had a problem downloading videos before in windows XP, but I just started using vista. I created a folder and several subfolders and downloaded lots of videos into the last subfolder using rapidshare.

I cannot access the last subfolder when I open the C drive--it shows a couple of the subfolders I created but not the LAST one where I downloaded the videos! The only way for me to find the videos is to go to the window which opens up when I use rapidshare to download--it shows the subfolder I created and all the videos I downloaded, and allows me to play videosfrom there.I can't even copy the videos and paste them into another folder!

Is this an admin issue which only shows several of the 'public' folders I created, but not the final folder for some reason? How can I download into a folder I create, and have it visible from the C drive along with all the other folders already there? How can I copy the videos I downloaded into this folder? PLEASE be very specific as I dont know my way around Vista!!!

Also, I have winzip, but when I click on one of the winzip files I downloaded, it gives me error messages. Is it because I can't use winzip in this 'secret' folder? What do I do? THANKS

Basically, I don't want any folders to be hidden or require admin access (personal home computer). I just want it the way XP did it!

A couple things to try. First - go to Control panel and select the Folders option. UnHide everything. Once you've applied all and ok'd all that-try checking for the files you're looking for.

Secondly, I no longer use WinZip. Win.Rar IMO is much better. Go to Download.com---This is a CNET site, and download the program for free.

X~
