How to make Mass Effect work on Windows 7 64 bit?

I had no problem with the installation. But, when I try to open the game, it gives me black screen and crashes. What am I supposed to do? I just used patch for 1.01 and still nothing. Tried to run as administrator, but still nothing. Help me please!

I've heard that you need to run it as administrator on Vista/7 but I don't know if thats true or not.zomglolcats

im having no problems running Mass Effect with windows 7 64bit. Have u tried updating your videocard drivers?eddy96_1
