hey there

last summer i purchased a 37inch veiwsonic hdtv and its great, to add to it i thought i would add some home theater speakers.

http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921665059480

I have only one problem with the system, bass. the small sub sounds ok sitting in the corner, but i know its capable of way more. (I like bass) I used the system settings to put the sub at +6 (the highest) and the speakers at -2, it sounded marginally better. But i know it can sound alot better, since i have put it on nearly full and thats when it sounds right. Only problem is the rest of the speakers are WAY too loud for comfort. What can i do to increase the bass output? I do realize i could have paid an extra $100 bucks for the same system with better fronts and sub, but this was a gift back in november. I looked for the higher models sub on ebay and such, but no luck. and it has to be sony because of the specialized wiring they include.. (i hate it)

Thanks

i think your pretty much stuck imo. mabey theres a "sub" volume, should be under setup, menu, on the amp, on the sub etc etc look in the manual aswell.
