High sounds doable depending on your res.

You won't max it at a higher resolution, but it'll definitely look good and play well.

Do you mean like resolution for LCD computer screen? I have a viewsonic 1080p LCD screen. Not sure what model or the specs are at the moment. Got it 1 year ago.

1080p means 1920x1080 resolution. Basically means your monitor has more pixels than say a 1400x900 monitor. You definitely won't max the game, but like I said it will look good and will be very playable.

If you dont mind me asking, do you think my Phenom II X4 955 @3.7GHz will hold up ok ? Im just wondering incase they sort of optimise the game for like the Intel Sandybridge CPUs. Im pretty confident my GPU (GTX570) will be ok

You will be more than ok. The 955 is a great CPU and very common so its optimization will be fine.

Based on the alpha, it's not very CPU heavy although it does utilize more than 2 cores(which is good news for you), and as people mentioned, common mid-ish GPUs are what DICE had in mind when making the game. It's about as good as it gets without DICE having to pay John Carmack to come optimize their code

If you have two GTX 460s it follows that you're using a CPU at least capable of running games that can make decent use of them. Mainstream game CPU usage, even for PC lead platform games like BF3 will not catch up with the average PC gamer CPU for a while, whereas GPUs are always pushed harder and harder every few months since most mainstream games are very GPU heavy, and some will go as far as to say good programmers will offload most of the work, at least in the case of games like BF3 and Crysis 2, to the GPU, which seems to be the case. GTX 460 SLI is better than a single GTX 480(which are super uncommon apparently) so there shouldn't be a single mainstream game that setup can't run on high-ultra settings at 1080p with reasonable framerates.

At a lower res you might get pretty high. At 1080p you won't. But none of us can say because we just don't know yet
