Asus F3 Series notebook It has 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 512MB (dedicated) HD 2600 Mobility GPU. Other than the amount of RAM, the thing seems pretty much worthy, but I'm wonderingt if anyone here would know if it could at least say, run the Orange Box games (and certainly TF2) with high on its native res...? At least if it can do that, AA won't mean a whole helluva lot.

Don't expect to max out, but you should be able to play fairly well. Your RAM and CPU are the biggest weaknesses, the HD 2600 should be an O.K. graphics card even in mobile format.

I think you should be playing on high thatsmy opinion. To be honest, I havent even tried the game and its not on my moms new PC, which has a 2600xt, 2x1gb, E6420 @ 2.14Ghz. Or else I could try it for you.

Except that would only help if I'd already bought the thing. I'm trying to use common sense by asking about its capability of running Team Fortress 2 before I put my hard-earned money down on the hardware to do so. :?
