Depends on what you mean by run Medium settings at 1200x1080 yes most anything. If you mean max out at a higher resolution then the processor is a little slow and maybe a 8800 would suit your needs better more ram couldnt hurt either of course. Now if you want to max Crysis you will need some serious upgrades.

over 5000 in 3dmark 06 is pretty good for a laptop, but it won't run things max. Should run every game out, should run every game out med at least.

i have the gateway fx laptop and i love it. the 9800m gts can run all games at high save for crysis. but i can run crysis at high at 1280 by 800 at a stedy 30 fps and it doesnt even look that bad at a lower rez. if you're looking into buying a laptop the gateway fx is THE BEST for your money.

Gaming Laptops-something I will never understand.

7950 looks fine, but the processor is rather poor. If you're getting a gaming laptop, you still need a fast processor to back the fast GPU.

I am here again offering this terrific website to you all. It basically scans your computer and tells you whether or not your computer can run it on different settings.
