I am looking at getting the Asus G73JH series laptop here are the specs

ntel Core i7 Processor 620M/820QM/720QM : 2.66 GHz - 1.6 GHz, with Turbo Boost up to 3.33/3.06/2.8 GHz

DDR3 1066/1333 MHz-8GB

TI Mobility Radeon HD 5870, 1G GDDR5 VRAM

2x500GB 7200RPM HDD

17.3 Inch screen (1920x1080)

So how will this laptop handle games, like Battlefield Bad Company 2, Crysis, starcraft, Unreal, CoD, Dragon Age, Mass effect 2 and so on?

That's a great laptop. That should handle those games quite well.

5870 is pretty much the best card benchmark wise. It is like 6th or 7th just under dual gpu set ups. I feel pretty confident at saying yes.

A lot more. I think I can see it maxing games for about 2 years with that card easily. That set up is really good (I would choose the 2.66 core processor though, as I don't think you get overclockable bios on laptops or can even find any). The i7's tech. isn't going to be surpassed anytime soon. 4 core support isn't even a standard yet. You will be gaming with that thing for years to come. Will it last more then 30 mins on the battery... that I don't know.

That is so true, the higher the specs the shortest the battery life.
