Hows Black Ops so far on PC?

I didnt get for PC just yet considering i wasted money with MW2 buying at release date and it was horrible on PC....is black ops really a step up for the PC community? opinions please.

Loving it, didnt think id buy another cod game, but wow, having a blast!

It's amazing! Apparently some people are having stuttering issues though, so you may want to wait for a patch (which ought to be out in a day or so).

Massive FPS lag here, and I mean MASSIVE. Going from 125fps-20fps every 30 seconds. Games unplayable.

I do believe a Treyarch dev confirmed they are working on a fix to be released ASAP. Seriously though, I might be the only person not experiencing this. :o

The game runs great, then horribly, then great again. The multiplayer maps (I havent played Single Player might try since the games pretty f'd up anywho) have horrible popin. I play with all settings maxed, and theres constantly problems with the lighting on foliage and stuff in the background. Im sure its awesome, Ive had fun even through the stuttering, but until a patch comes out im dissapointed.

That's bizarre. Campaign runs great for me, and I have 16x AA enabled. Ditto online, albeit with per server lag.

Yeah the ony game I lagged was when there was tons of peopel with 300-400 ping lol. Peopel from France and North America or something lol. All the other 10-20 games i played had no lag or slowdowns.

After playing the Single Player for a bit, it is definetly playable. Ive got a E8400 currently clocked at 4ghz and a 5850 oc'd to 5870 clocks, im getting well over 60fps with everything maxed (including antialiasing). The only problem is like I said in my other post, theres horrible lighting on some models, that pops in and out randomly and just looks incredibly ugly. The singleplayer is playable, the multiplayer isnt (for serious ass whipping).

Singleplayer isn't all that great. I'd probably say it's the worst out of all the CoD games I've played thus far (CoD2, CoD4, WaW, MW2). Maybe a it's a little better than WaW because of the varying settings, but it's hard to say so far. It could also be because the gameplay is starting to become too familiar...

I can't comment on the multiplayer.

Zombie is really good from what little I've played. Only appears that 1 map is available.

Lots and lots of lag both network and frame rate drops. Zombie mode is really really laggy. Then there's just a bunch of other more minor bugs that have annoyed me.

Just finished the game. Although the ending wasn't 'wowing', the story had a nice pace to it.
