Still a decent number of players?

Lot of people on right now...
Over 230 on Republic Fleet, 200 on Empire Fleet, almost 200 on Coruscant and I am guessing as many on Dromund Kaas and then still large amounts on every planet leveling...
Republic Fleet
Coruscant
Empire Fleet
I can't tell you how many people are on the new planet because I didn't pre-order Rise of the Hutt Cartel until like February; so no early access for me, but I would guess at least a couple dozen... It could be hundreds for all I know though, there were hundreds of people on Ilum a few weeks back when the first Gree event happened, that was the last time I played. There were upwards of 11 different instances of the planet open at peak hours, with 80+ people in some of them.
This is all on Shadowlands server, I can't speak for the others.

Out of those 20: 6/20 were heavy, 5/20 were standard, and 9/20 were light.
That doesn't sound all THAT good, tbh.
It's average at best. And you can kiss those oceanic ones goodbye, they are closing em up and merging with US west coast ones

When I linked it, 10 were heavy most were standard and only a few were light. I guess it depends on time.
I play for free, just going through stories. The PvE servers are Heavy most times, especially evenings and patch days. Since I am a free player, I get stuck in the queue. No longer than 30 minutes though. The population seems pretty stable. When I queue up for a dungeon, I get in within 30 minutes usually. That hasn't changed since the launch of f2p.
By the way, I have bought a bunch of the cartel unlocks (extra character slots, inventory slots, etc.) just with credits from the auction house. A lot of players buy those items with their cartel coins and sell them in the game as a way to buy credits with real money. I got my first character to 50 (Jedi Sage) and just did daily quests every day. Most unlocks sell for under the free player credit cap.

Nah unless all say Full 24/7 365, the game fails.

Nah, your trolling fails. The question is, is it worth resubbing? I know the game really lacked end game content at launch, but I know they've been trying to fix that.
It's not a bad game, it was just really overhyped which turned out to be just very average. Felt like it was going through the motions a bit too much.
If u just want to play the main story line, you can play for free. If you want to do a lot of the Flashpoints and Missions, which personally I believe is where SWTOR shines, you will need to sub (you can still do some free)The question is, is it worth resubbing? They claim a million people or so since f2p, but they've been shutting servers down, so who knows what to think
mrbojangles25
yeah they did server mergers, which was a brilliant idea, prior to making the game F2P, so servers are well populated.
Then when free to play came out, the servers got even more populated, which is good and bad. Â Good, because there is a larger pool of players, and bad, Â because a lot of jackasses are on there now lol.
Overall I'd say the community is pretty damn good, well populated, and enjoyable.
Concerning the game, 2.0 recently game out and they tweaked a lot of things. Â Only thing I hear people bitching about is the "nerf" assassin/shadow tanks received but, outside of that, I'd call it a good update to an already awesome game.
Exactly. They merged server because the major complaint was servers with low population. Now most of them are heavy. Also, content is always getting added.
Also, there were lots of complaints about the Cartell Shop, but there really are awesome things on there to get...and you don't need to spend real money.

Well, to every coin there is another side. They are actually closing down the Oceanic Servers, which really is sad cause the ping I get on them is great. Saying that, I started playing SWTOR when it launched on American Servers and the game was totally playable (ping-wise). It's mostly for PvP where you need good ping and all MMOs have servers overseas so we Aussies are used to that.[QUOTE="wis3boi"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]

Not right now....it's cold and rainy here....lol. Yes, we do get sun, but remember that Australia is right underneath the Ozone Layer Hole, so you get really sunburnt with danger of skin cancer. Yep.....good old Australia, where if the plants, spiders, frogs, sharks, crocodiles, insects, bacteria don't kill you.... the SUN will. That's what happens after hyping mediocre games. One day you wake up and ask yourself: "Was it even worth it?"SKaREO
It wasn't. I bought a game at £44 at launch and less than a year later the whole thing is free. There was nothing for people who actually bought the game besides the 'Preffered status' which anyone can get for spending over £1 in their store.Â
People who bough the game early on should have got some extra benefits. There was nothing that shows that they actually care about the people who made it the fastest growing MMO ever. Maybe that's one of the reasons it became one of the fastest MMO's to go f2p.

If you were a subscriber when it went F2P you got cartel coins for purchasing the game back when it cost money... I bought the collector's edition and subscribed from launch until March and then again from July until launch of F2P (November maybe?) and got over 7000 cartel coins at launch of F2P (like $60 worth if you buy em up front). Granted I would have liked more since they never updated the Collector's Edition Store, but hey they could have not given me anything at all...
You needed to be a subscriber when F2P came though... If you weren't you missed it and can't get those coins now.

Yeah, I have the CE too and I got heaps of Cartel Points when the F2P launched. Also, the Statue is awesome. Please Log In to post.
