I believe it releases tomorrow...and I have work tomorrow ...and I have to study for my finals next week. Really bad time to have the beta weekend event.:cry:

Oh my god are you kidding me. How can a digital editon be sold out??? Will they come back in stock?? I don't have any money at the moment, so I had to wait until my paycheck!!! This just ruined my life!!

Thanks for clearing that up.

I won't be prepurchasing it, even if I still could (how does a digital copy sell out anyway?!); I would actually have liked an open beta to check things out before diving in a new MMO.

I pre-purchased but I don't really care much for Beta's. RealzAtheist

That "public beta" thing that confuses you just means that you are allowed now to speak your mind about the game, whether you're impressed, dissapointed or whatever it is. Theres a closed beta which restricts you from making any footage or saying anything about the game in the open - forums, tweeter, facebook etc. while the public gives you the rights of free speech related to the product/game.

P.S. I've even seen people raging, thinking that public beta is OPEN beta ... awww so embarassing to witness such a public fail :lol:

They simply stopped the digital distribution for a limited time in order to process all the data, quantity of sold copies, linked to which credit cards, used in which countries. I bet they are gonna make an announcement next week saying half a million purchased copies already bought for 1 month since game was available for pre-purchase ... wouldn't be surprised really, would be rather happy really :P

This beta weekend was amazing. I am so impressed with the fresh new style of mmo. If things continue like what I saw this weekend, this game is gonna be huge. I acutally recorded 12 hours of footage over this weekend currently shifting through and editing. cool, i appreciate the videos! like i said in my other thread im still torn between swtor and gw2. but i feel like ill get gw2 since it does look like the better game (loooooved gw1) and most of my friends are getting it.
