Looking into getting my first gaming PC. My goal is to have a computer than can run WoW, SWTOR, Skyrim, and BF3 at or close to maxed. I'm not sure how it'll go up against Skyrim and BF3. I plan to play in fullscreen 1920x1080. I'm going from a computer that can barely run WoW on low, it runs it at 20 FPS. So hopefully I picked some good parts. Suggestions?

Note - The PSU is for future proof. When my video card begins to age I will add another and SLI them.

its good. but do you know what your buying mouse-wise?

cooler master dont make good mice. i'd always go for a logitech mouse, a g400 would be better than that mouse and cheaper. g500 same price and better.

says the lvl 5.. however coolermaster isnt known for their mice logitech or razer ir steelseries or microsoft would make better mice than them. ooh gigabyte or ihome would also suffice try to get something ergonomic

here is a nice gigabyte mouse:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826146021

classical ergonomic grip. good DPI, reliable brand, wired laser, and it has plenty of buttons and a tilt wheel. i recommend +1 over the far more expensive g500

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104318&Tpk=g500

which has a selective ergonomic design (meaning only certain individuals benefit from its design while others its counter productive), wired optical mouse with a higher dpi and an equal number of buttons. yeah your g500 is so useful (in specific cases)

it means i actually have answered this question before.. your logitech mice are great im not out to assualt your choice.. nor am i here to promote my mouse of choice.. im here to promote the use of the correct mouse for the correct hand. not all hands are the same, and your g500 has a selective ergenomics design meaning only a few benefit form it. there are several experiment free classical ergonomical design mice around. which will do the job for anyone just fine. instead your banking on the 1-4 chance your right and not causing the problem most smart ppl try to avoid (namely injury) when selecting their devices. adding a cruve to a mosue doesnt make it ergenomic. its about making it fans the hands its using.

lol but most people are right handed. so most of the time a logitech mouse is a great suggestion. if the OP isnt left handed then im sure he would appreciate knowing who make the best mice for right-handers.

AF makes like no difference to performance and the FXAA doesn't hurt much. You can use 16XAF and a bit of FXAA.

Huh. So if I brought up the fact that Cooler Master has some of the most popular mice on the market in terms of shape and sensor quality right now, would that make a difference because I'm higher than level 5? The CM Storm Spawn and Xornet have an excellent shape, and their Avago ADNS 3050/3090 sensors are quite high quality. They're not without their foibles and the shape isn't suited for everyone, but they are very comfortable mice for those who claw-grip. Overall I'd still say the Zowie AM is probably the best mouse on the market, but the shape of the Spawn/Xornet is just too good to pass up for some folks.

blaznwiipspman1

I could save a bit of money if I didn't buy an OS (Which I have to have so I don't have a choice) mouse, and keyboard. I also have a bigger PSU then I needed for future SLI'ing.

That, and by the time I sell my old computer and monitor, Xbox 360 and games it'll only be around $700.

And to everyone else thanks for all the approvals. It took a bit of time and research to put this together, being my first PC build I wasn't too sure about the parts.

When my video card begins to age I will add another and SLI them.

munkey102
HALT: I can see that microcenter has the same processor for 180 bucks. Don't you think that is better.

In-store pickup only. Don't even have one of those stores in my state.

Oh I wish this stuff was around when I built my first gaming rig. This is all literally 2-8 times better than what I got for $1200 all those years ago...
