Will this run be able to play games, such as crysis, on high-ish settings?

2 ATI HD4850s (crossfire) (at 512mb per 4850)

Intel Q6600 @ 2.4ghz

X48 intel motherboard

5.1 speakers

32bit vista OS

4gbs DDR2 memory

500gb SATA hard drive

850W power supply

Will this rig be a good rig for the future, and, play the games well for now?

Looks good to me, the only thing I would change is the OS to 64bit.

Yes, but, not many games are designed for 64bit OS. lots are geared towards 32 bit, and then the 64bit has to translate everything, to 32bit, and it will bog down the performance. from what i hear.

only thing about it I would change is the os to 64bit so you could take advantage of the full 4gb since 32bit doesn't allow that other than that everything looks good you should be able run any game out there decently without any problems

Mainly the new games support 64bit like Crysis. However 64bit is now starting to become the standered for gaming.
