I agree, possibly the best video game deal i've ever seen.

I just bought it, but I wish I could have gifted some of the games. Like, I already owned Metro 2033 and likely won't touch Company of Heroes since I played that years back. But Darksiders, Red Faction and Saints Row justify the $5 I paid so it's all good.

THQ has revenues in the hundreds of millions, plus its a publisher. Why is there a humble bundle for them? I thought humble bundle was meant to help out small developers.

they aren't doing well right now, if it continues then lots of jobs could be lost including thecancellation of some really great games.

The Humble Bundle "helped" already famous indie devs and games. Indie Royale is the one for obscure indies.

If you haven't been paying attention, THQ is basically broke, they are nearly defualting on loans, They currently have a 147 debt to captial ratio which is just horrible. It will be suprising if they last more than a few years

Unfortunately I already own Saints Row 3, Metro 2033 and Company of Heroes. Not sure if I'll get it for RF and Darksiders.

EDIT: Just remembered that the games do come with the soundtrack, some of which are quite good. hmm..

I usually give most of the money to the charities in these bundles but it seems like THQ is grasping for any money at all to stay alive. Either way, it's a great bundle indeed.

I have all but Armageddon and I wasn't too impressed with the demo. Darksiders, Metro 2033, Company of Heroes, and Saints Row 3 are all great games. I advise all to jump on this quickly if you don't have these great games.

I already own all the games I care for in the bundle, I would buy them again if I could gift them to kick THQ some cash flow.General_X

Gave them what I thought Darksiders was worth since thats all I really want. Shame they had to go with Steam only, instead of the usual DRM-free with Steam Keys because that would have made me drop a lot more $ then I did.

THQ's got no money to remove Steamworks from these games.

At this point THQ is probably just hoping to sell their remaining assets to a potential buyer. They've got some valuable IPs so maybe someone bigger (EA perhaps?) would consider buying them out. Just speculation on my part of course. I just hope Metro Last Light and Company of Heroes 2 make it out the door before THQ is finished.
