It will be in my bedroom (so it can't be too big) and I will be using it for watching TV and gaming. Samsung - 26" 720p Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV Model: LN-T2642H http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8250126&type=product&id=1169512290242 what do you think?

As long as it meets your needs I am sure it will be adequate. I only offer this advise. Amazon.com will save you money for the exact same tv delivered to your door.

Breakdown:

Bestbuy.com

TV 649.99 Shipping $60 Tax: 41.70 Total: $751.69

Amazon.com

TV 636.23 Shipping: Free Tax: None Total: 636.23

Savings to You: $115

720p instead of 1080p. That's a negative.

Kind of "fat" looking.

$750 could probably get you a better looking one elsewhere although I haven't tried looking yet.

I have a 32" vizio and it is in my room. My room isn't that big really.

Shoot I use this thing to find my way in the dark so that I don't fall over my dog that sleeps with me.

You are correct with the under 30" statement. Also, 1080p on anything 32" or smaller is insignificant. Its not distiguishable enough to tell a difference on sets that small.
