How do you deal with all these cables and cords! The back of my desk looks like the snake pit in Raider of the Lost Ark.

You could buy a Apple. They also make a lot of computers that are just displays now (Best buy has a few) Or whip out the zipties and have at it.

I kinda just push mine all into an area I can't see. My issue, is that I don't have enough space for game boxes.

You must have a lot of things. Like printers, scanners and external hard drives. You could swop them for all in ones and buy wireless compoants. Hope that helps!

Most people have their desks against walls, so the backs of their desks are of no importance at all.

I suppose you could neatly arrange your wires and bunch them together with those little plastic twisty things, but if your desk is against a wall like almost everyone else's, why does it even matter?

Personally, I don't care about mess, or lack thereof. I try and keep a certain level of neatness so navigation behind my PC is easy when I'm tinkering, but that's about it. I am pro-mess!

Roll up the length of cords that is excess and put a zip tie around it. Works pretty well.

I hate Micro$oft.

That's what Boot Camp is for, you can put Windows Vista on Mac, there are also some fast graphics cards you can get for the Mac, such as the GeForce 8800GTX AFAIK.

It really depends on your desk. I have a desk pretty much built for a PC so there are no visible cords. By your desk not having a "back", do you mean that it's just a surface (like a table) or is it just wood in the back with no holes?

Sadly gaming Macs cost thousands more than their PC counterparts and aren't nearly as fast.

As a part-time Mac user, I think it's very funny that with the rise of the Xbox, PC gamers are finally experiencing the Microsoft that Mac users have endured for years, the Microsoft that says, well, "We don't give a sh*t." ;-)

I used to Zip-tie all my stuff and have my desk/computer against the corner to minimize the clutter. Loved the Indy reference btw.

You can always get things like cable tubes, or cable ties to keep them together. Though it is annoying when move hardware and you'd have to untangle and untie them. You can minimize by getting wireless devices, and maybe unplugging putting away cables that you don't frequently use, such as printer USB cable- assuming that you don't print a lot.

Is it spherical? Cuz that would be cool!
