Hello, I recently received my new video card, an ATi HD 4850, and after installing it and all the drivers (the beta 8.7 Catalyst drivers from guru3d), I have found that I can't access the ATi Catalyst Control Center whatsoever. There is no icon, no indication of how to, nothing in the control panel, and nothing on the desktop or task bar. I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the drivers and programs all to the book (with driver cleaner pro and everything), but I still have no indication of it working. All I have found in the programs file it keeps installing for the application is what appears to be a small install text file, which may or may not have been used in conjunction with the original install. That's all. I'm very concerned about all of this, especially since I can't even tell what temperature the card is running at, and I know there's been plenty talk about how hot this particular card gets. I've tried other utilities, but they don't seem to work either. Can anyone help me at all with this problem?

Yes. I did it all by the book, or how many different and informed PC gurus have told me how to.

So no one else can help me? I really need it to configurate the fan control. The temperature is just far too hot, and I can't even know what the exact reading is!
