I really wanna play stalker. I have vista, I can't even get the install window to come up.

What to do? I need precise instructions people!

Have you tried launching the setup.exe through Vista's equivalent of "Run," the "Windows Explorer" or the "Add/Remove Programs" in the "Control Panel?"

stalker installs perfectly fine on vista. in fact, it looks a whole lot better if you got vista and a good video card. you can run it on full dynamic lighting which looks great. to answer your question, insert the disc and you should get a pop-up window, if not, right click on your dvd drive and click "install or run program."

Remember to update the game before starting. You will have to update sooner or later because of the bugs and when you do, you can't use your old save file anymore.
