What are your specifications?
Once you know you should take this to the hardware forum and they might be able to suggest some better components.
Every game through steam crashes, vanguard crashes etc. I don't understand why this is happening. Any broad ideas?Johnny-QuestYou most likely have defection on your PC.
Probably a sign, that your PC isn't doing fine at all. Maybe you should do a registry check (RegCure 2008 for example) and do a deformation. And also check for Spyware, Malware and Viruses.
You're computer has roaches.
No really, open it up it probably has dead cockroaches inside it.

lol
yeah, check for viruses and cockroaches, if you can't find any viruses I suggest buying a new PC
best thing to do is to get a new pc broshaoxiong
LOL? do you guys buy new PC every time something is little wrong?
are you newbs or something.
Here are steps you should take in case somethings wrong:
Free some disk space and remove EVERYTHING UNNECESARY also run cleanup wizard
Defragment
Run Antispyware/maleware/virus software (i would recomend that you have zone alarm instaled its all mentioned + great firewall)
If you still get problems,i dont know but i usualy like to FORMAT disk and reinstall windows.
If nothing works than you dont buy NEW PC LOL
You just either:
-REPAIR PC (at my place, simple repairs are like 15$
-BUY NEW PARTS NOT NEW PC.
NEVER NEVER NEVER buy complete new pc.You just upgrade it.
Even if you have veeery old pc than DONT BUY NEW ONE even if you have to replace motherboard + cpu+ gpu + ram than its still less expencive than buying new one. (if you buy new one you get some unnecessary things that are costly and you already have them)

I just want to play some games. I meet all of the requirements for all the games I want to play, yet I crash every time.
Johnny-Quest
That's not a bad spec you've got there, it should be capable of running most games.
Is it the games that crash or Windows that crashes?
Check out the application and system logs from around the time of the crash they might be able to shed some light on the issue.
Click start > click run > type eventvwr.msc > click ok > Look under system and application for items with red Xs that happened at the SAME time as the crash > double click the entries to view more details > then list any with your next post.
Updating hardware drivers (sound, graphics, motherboard), installing latest game patches, running chkdsk and running a memory tester http://www.memtest.org/ are usually a good idea as well.

real pros fix it themselves.. you = fail
come back when you learn how to build a computer.

15 dollars for a repair job? Heh, guess I'm one of these guys who refuse to have a high-school dropout to stick his hands into my computer and then rattle off some non-sense speil on how my computer is bogged down due to some bogus reason. I work in IT and I love hardware in computers. I have walked into Staples, Futureshop, and Radioshack and have had the salesperson spew bull and I know many people who have went to these exact same places for computer repairs and get told that their "USB Ports no longer work as they became bloated", "We were unable to revert to your old settings during the repairs due to a virus on your computer" or my overal favorite "We cannot due anything to solve the problem and will need to format your computer". The solutions for the problems above were a driver update, going in a changing all the settings back from classic view, and booting into safe mode, removing an old driver and re-installing an older version of the driver.
So don't call someone else a newb when you suggest a person to go to a repairshop and hope that they can repair it.
Whenever there is something wrong with my computer I just pour water in it while it's on. Usually there are a few sparks and some sizzling noises followed by a few beeps and the whole thing goes dead. One time there was smoke. But anyways, after I do that, I then drop it out of my 2rd story window into my garden below.
Currently there are 11 computers in my garden, but you can't really see them because there's this big bush there (the type that has those little white flowers) and it pretty much covers up the mess except in the winter when all the leaves and flowers are gone.
