this game is kind of stupid they made it to much colorful and happy, even they tanks looks like they are breathing!

soldiers bigger then tanks and they over did the super technology...

overall this ISNT red alert they ruined it for me..

red alert 2 was a great game this one is a rip off with fancy vids and bed acting..

 so what do you think?

Well I guess your mileage may vary depending on if you played RA2. If not, then RA3 probably won't be a let down.

I think there truly needs to be a proper expansion to Red Alert 3 before I can correctly judge it. In terms of it's own standalone game, there just isnt enough variety in units spanning over the factions. Thus, it got fairly old, fairly quickly for me. With an expansion pack though, I hope EA delivers wierd but highly useful units to each different faction, but also adds more content in general. I feel as though the game needs to have more meat on it's bones before I can truly call it a proper Red Alert game.

Plus, bring back the environmental destruction seen in the likes of the 6 year old Red Alert 2. I want to be able to blow up all the civilian cars and houses before I destroy my enemy. In some respects, I'm dissapointed with RA3.

So far the majority of the complaints seem to be about the style, which in my opinion is silly. There was a lot of pre-release information including videos and screenshots, if you new you would not like it why would you buy the game anyways? As far as CnC and RTS games go this one is rather good. Its much less spammy than other CnC games with surprisingly more gameplay variety (concern in beta was lack if builds) Balance is also pretty good, with the only real problem being Japanese weakness to an Allied fast Vindicator build. One thing that I can't stress enough though is just how good the balance inside each faction is, most units are useful through out the game or each has their places, shure there are faults but nothing major, I mean there were times when even CoH turned into shrecked-grenadier/medi-bunker spam.

It takes a little getting used to but once you do, it is a great game if you digg the C&C franchise.

I can't judge a game till I have played it. Unfortunately I don't buy games either till I have played them. So I guess you could say I am still hoping for a demo to come out.

Same here, except the bit about the demo. When I finally get around to reading this month's PCPP (an Australian PC gaming mag,) I'll check out the review, and make up my mind.
