whats the point of having dpi in mices when you can change the sensitivity of the mice in a game? almost all games let you.

i dont get it, am i missing something?

is there a disadvantage with one and an advantage with the other?

i can understand dpi on the fly but yeah..

anyone?

Because DPI switching on mice you can do on the fly...

I'm camping with an awp, so I want to lower my sens a little, get a couple of kills but the rest of my team is dead and I have to go run to "B" to get the bomb. I pick up an M4 and raise my sens, aka DPI, back up to the normal level that I like.

Actually imo its better to use same DPI for all weapons since its easier to flick shot with AWP if ur used to that DPI/sens.
