No, it's really not very good for modern gaming. The Pentium D, 1GB of RAM, and 7300 (with turbocache!) completely cripple the system.

Sorry. At least you asked us, and didn't take a leap of faith and buy that junker.

Well, since its cheep I would get it, then mod the hell out of get. Replace the Pentium D with an E6300, you can leave the 1 gb of RAM alone (Its enough) and get a 7600 gt.

If you don't know what your buying, I wouldn't recomend buying a computer off of Ebay. Figure out how much you want to spend, then go around to all your local computer shops and ask them to give you a quote on a system. Bring them back here, type them up, and we will help you pick.

Any company that would add the speed of both processors together and call their cpu 5.6Ghz is just plain evil.

i doubt it 5.6ghz i think the person has X'ed the core speed by two (common misconception), but it seems like a decent system for its price. personally i wouldnt buy a Pc of ebay try www.ebuyer.com they have few decent comps there.

Ok. You can but that computer on ebay (although you dont have to). Then you go online and buy a new processor to replace the pentium D. I would say you should get the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300. Then you go out and get a 7600 GT to replace your 7300 Graphics card. When the computer gets to you you open it up. You follow the intructions for installing an e6300 and a 7600 GT (They will come with each part respectivly). I hope I made it simpler for you.

I detest ebay sellers who do that, add the speed of the two cores together and call it anything from 5.6ghz to 7.2ghz depending on the CPU. It's usually a really underhanded way of selling crappy Pentium D's to people who don't know about dual-core tech and actually think they will be getting a CPU running between 5-7ghz...
