That things gigantic, I'd rather wait for the 9800GT, but even then my current GTX will still be fine.

Usualy you need to change the PSU when you get a monster of a video card, in this case you need a new case

If rumours are to be believed than this card is just merely a revision of the 8800 series nothing more, butI'm going to wait for proper official news before believing anything.

Well, the 9600GT, which has also been labelled as a revision, is showing some pretty serious performance jumps over the 8 series cards in the same price range. Even if they are revisions, who cares, the performance is going to be there.

all new cards should just have their own power supply, didn't some older cards(2002) have their own power supply?

Yea, I think I might skip out on this series and wait for the 10 series which are the true next gen cards. All these g92's are ticking me off X_X

I would say the GX2, cause they would really piss off GX2 buyers if a better card comes out a month later.

Yeah I just read that ht GX2 is going to be the best performer, over 30% better than 8800 Ultra. The 9800GTX is going to be the same amount better than the 8800GTX.

If those specs are true, it's not much better than the 8800gts 512MB... at all.

Speaking of which, I remember reading on a Web page that someone used an Athlon XP's excess heat to cook some eggs. No, really-they replaced the heatsink with a little metal container to dump the eggs in. Anyway, I really, REALLY hope the specs aren't true, as that would make it a 8800 GTS 512 MB with an additional power connector. (Then again, the entire GeForce 9 Series so far happens to consist of GeForce 8 Series products with few modifications. Not deserving of being called an entirely new series, if you ask me.)
