[QUOTE="brandao25"][QUOTE="svtoorn"]Sounds to me like you got a "user error".

:?
Is that a new error or something like that ??
Bcoz I've never heard about that error :?
In computer jargon this is called a ID-Ten-T error. Look it up if you don't know what it is.
isnt it funny how one small mishap with vista and the person automatically hates the whole os. people are so quick to bash microsoft but i dont see them changing operating systems. vista is not bad, i prefer it over xp. working in retail selling computers i get this vista bashing everyday from people who have never used it which is backwards.
and to the op, this is pc hardware forum not "i cant find my file folder" forum
I used vista and it doesn't do anything that couldn't be done w/a service pack download and some other free downloads to XP. I don't understand why XP can't support Dirext X 10. The little widgets, the search, the folder preview, etc can all be done with XP downloads.

vista is great. Soon will be the end of winXP.Mr_NoName111
I hope so... But microsoft is sort of kicking themselves by adding a SP that will increase general performance by any recognizable amount. I too think that Vista is a good OS, and a natural progression. People just don't realize that microsoft stayed on XP for too long. There is no money in patching an OS for free.
