ok i have a web cam and when i use it there's a lot of delayed movement, when i move my hand it takes like 2 seconds to record it. when i first hook it up something at the bottom right pops up saying "this device can perform faster with a high speed USP port" will it really help cause i don't want to go all the way up to the mall to pick up something that might not work.

It means that you are plugging the camera into a non-USB 2.0 port. Or one that doesn't supply +5v. You can get a USB 2.0 pci card for like $20 at any electronics store (Bestbuy, Circuit City, etc.). You can get it cheaper on the net, but it sounds like you don't really want to wait for it.

They are the same thing. A USB 2.0 card is made up of high speed usb ports.
