you don't have a army, wow is like a online rpg game but much better then any other online rpg games out there. but if your not a fan of grinding then this game is not for you. you have to sit on your computer for a lot of hours doing quests just to level up. there is also the arena and battleground where you fight with other players. if you like doing quests and leveling up then you will love this game if not then you might not like it.

2. It was very addicitve for me. My first session I played for twelve hours straight.

3. You can play for as long as you subscribe.

4. No there is no offlien play.

5. It can usually be found for $19.99 or $39.99 for the battlechest

6. If by beat you mean to get to the highest level expect to put in hundreds of hours.

7. No, it is a third person view and is point and click

8. You don't get to make armies to my knowledge.

9. The Wraith of the Laich King is an expansion pack coming out that will add more levels, quests, and other content. There is also another expansion pack thta came out last yera called The Burning Crusade.

1. Hundreds of guides online, dont use an official retail guide, they become outdated fast.

2. Depends on the person, but yes ....

3. Unlimited? as long as your paying the monthly fee.

4. No.

5. ..... I'm not US.

6. You can never *beat* the game, it is a persistent world played with many other players.

7. No, it is an MMORPG where you ply as one character at a time ( Massivly Multiplayer Role-Playing Game )

8. You either Pick Alliance ( Humans, Night Elves, Gnomes, Dwarves and Drenai ) or HORDE ( Orcs, TAurens, Trolls, Undead or Blood Elves)

9) Expansion pack, you need the original World of Warcraft AND last year's WoW: Burning Crusade before you can install/play the Wrath of the Lich King content..... think of each expansion as a saga...

What about "The frozen throne"? it says it's offline single player, is it any good?

I'm trying to find one that doesn't need the internet to play. and one that is long and has a tutorial on how to play.

Frozen Throne is "WArcraft 3: Frozen Throne" which IS an RTS game, WOW = World of Warcraft, an MMORPG in the same universe as Warcraft 3 ... but an entirely different genre.

You need Warcraft III to play Frozen Throne ( Frozen Throne is an expansion. )

1.Is there any guides on how to play this game?planetvash112

All over the place. There are several sites dedicated to info about WoW, like wowwiki.com, wowhead.com, and thobott.com.

2.IS it addictive?planetvash112

That really depends on you. Are you an addictive personality type? There is a lot to do, but you have the ability to walk away at any time.

3.how many hours can I play for?planetvash112

24 hours a day except on maintenance day. :p You might want to sleep, or go to work/school though.

4.Can I play this game offline?planetvash112

Only with a server emulator, which Blizzard might not approve of.

5.How much does it cost to buy it? (wal mart etc)planetvash112

I thought I saw the WoW Battlechest going for $40. Separate, the original game usually goes for $20, and the Burning Crusade for $30. Wrath of the Lich King will be $40 for the standard edition. There is also a $15 monthly fee.

6.How many hours does it take to beat this game?planetvash112

Depends on what you mean by "beat". If you mean clear all of the raid content, a long long time. There's no real end point to the game, though, as it's an MMO and the point is to keep you playing month after month.

7.Is it real-time strategy?planetvash112

No, it's an MMO.

8.Do you get to pick and make an army of like whatever you want?planetvash112

There are a number of races to choose from, depending on whether you chose Horde or Alliance.

9.What is "The wrath of the lich king"? and should I buy that one insted of the normal one I always see?planetvash112

Wrath of the Lich King is the second expansion and will be coming out on 11/13. You aren't required to have it to play the normal game, but will want it if you plan on reaching the new continent. You'll pretty much have to be 70+ before it's worth owning.

The original game is required to have a subscription. If you do subscribe, you might as well get the Burning Crusade.

The Battlechest is the orginal game and the Burning Crusade expansion (I think they throw in a guide aswell, though it might be outdated), you need World of Warcraft in order to play Burning Crusade. Frozen Throne is a completely different game set in the same universe (they share the same history and lore). As for prices, the Original WoW cost me 15 euros, the Burning Crusade is priced between 20 and 30 euros, I think, and Warcraft 3 + The Frozen Throne expansion costs 20 euros, I don't know how much the Battlechest costs, but it shouldn't be above 50 euros, there are also the monthly fees, though those fees vary depending on how many months you pay at once (buying six months at once is much cheaper than buying them individually).

I recommend Titan Quest (With expansion). You might like it if you enjoy games like Diablo 2.
